Likes:

∴ Sake / Alchohol - Over everything, Shiraume is an avid alcoholic. He LOVES it and will try any kind--the stronger the better. In fact, seldom is there a time you will not see him drinking himself silly. Even during battle, is he capable of carrying his sakazuki without spilling in ease. Due to his eccentric personality, it is hard to tell when he is drunk or sober. But when he starts getting complaintive, you'll know he hasn't had a drink in awhile.

∴ Tsuyuri - Humans in general seem to be unfavorable to Shiraume, seeming constantly struggling for power and easily corrupt. However, he became drawn to Tsuyuri's selflessness and extroverted natures towards all people and things and respected his treatment of Shiraume as an individual and not as a servant. While he bears no interest in the war between Royals, he participates solely for Tsuyuri to protect him despite his teasing and constant picking on him.

∴ Daily Luxuries - Shiraume's personal life-angle is to love and enjoy the most simple of pleasures in order to live a happy life--something he believes humans have long forgotten to do. He enjoys all kinds of good-tasting food (indicating that he can tend to be a bit of a glutton), quality drinks, long naps, smoking out in the cool weather, and enjoyable entertainment. People who pay their sole attention to only work and duties are unfavorable company, in his opinion. Though in contrast to perspective, Shiraume tends to come off as irresponsible.

∴ Plum Blossoms - He and Tsuyuri seem to share an equal intense affection for plum blossoms. Being the essence of Tsuyuri's budding plum blossom tea, Shiraume's existence coexists with the plum blossoms that bloom all around the Kaga residence. Therefore, the plum blossoms are heavily incorporated into Shiraume's fighting and ability techniques.

Dislikes:

∴ Humans - Though he does not particularly show any hateful attitude towards them, Shiraume was greatly disenchanted with the easily corrupt and egotistical tempers of humans. This probably started with observing the mindset of Tsuyuri's father.. and soon many Royals all around the world. While he does not claim to hate them, he does seem to feel a sneering pity towards them. Tsuyuri was the first human he had known to show none of the selfish characteristics he despised so much.

∴ Hot Weather - Like Tsuyuri, Shiraume also appears to detest the blazing heat of weather. He also seems to have grown particularly careful when in it after discovering his partner's weakness and tendency of suffering heatstroke from over exposure.

∴ Tedious Tasks - He greatly dislikes having to do too much work. While he, no doubt, has no problem in defending Tsuyuri, Shiraume tends to get him to do any kind of task that he himself has no particular interest in. This is just an addition to his irresponsible and lazy personality.

∴ Confinement - Shiraume has most definitely expressed how much he does not like to be in his teabag. There is just simply too many pleasures outside to be cramped up in his own small space. Especially since he cannot drink sake when he's not outside. Though if there is a task or activity he does not want to participate in, he will quickly retreat back into his teabag with the excuse that he 'doesn't want to drain anymore of Tsuyuri's energy'... ....which is ridiculous, because just being out does not tire the Royals at all.

Personality:

○ Drunk or Sober? - Shiraume's personality seems to be naturally drunk-like. However, the more drunk he is, the happier he is. He tends to complain more when he's sober.

● Lazy & Irresponsible - He doesn't like to do things that require hard work. He normally gets away with things like making Tsuyuri get/do things for him when he is perfectly capable himself.

○ Two-Faced - Behind that drunken and plastered exterior is a philosophical, intelligent, and knowledgeable entity that is scheming and calculative. It's this side of his personality that caused his disdain towards human nature to begin with. He tends to surprise people by his sudden change. Though this is rare to happen.

● Sadistic In Combat - Due to Tsuyuri's pacifism, Shiraume takes it upon himself to bear the mercilessness that he his partner does not have in battle. This causes him to be especially violent and brutal during battles.

○ Protective - It's no secret that behind his constant teasing and picking on Tsuyuri, Shiraume dons an extremely protective nature towards him. If anyone else besides him picks on Tsuyuri, Shiraume responds back with twice the malice.

History:
Shiraume initially had no particular interest in serving the master he was bonded to. In fact, he hadn't bothered to show himself to Tsuyuri until just before the boy was about to leave home; and even then, he seemed a bit disappointed at the sight of a small and frail boy that didn't seem to have much physical strength at all. He also took an instant disliking to the boy's curiosity and eagerness to get to know him while he had no attraction towards Tsuyuri. He icily told the boy not to bother him unless he was desperately in danger.

Much to his dismay, he was summoned out when Tsuyuri was not 'desperately in danger'. Instead he was invited to sit beside him at a teahouse and indulge in the snacks that Tsuyuri had gotten for him. Though still a bit doubtful that the boy's intentions were pure, he decided to do so. It was during this that Shiraume finally surrendered to Tsuyuri's charming and sincere personality, being told that the boy had no interest in looking at Shiraume as a servant. (It was also during this event that he was introduced to sake as well.) Gradually as time passed and Tsuyuri had become older, Shiraume was learning more things about him; like his tendency to help others in disregard to his own health and his strong disapproval of violence.

Despite the boy's weak exterior, Shiraume could see a sincere and kind soul and decided to look past his own indifference to duty in order to protect this dear one.

‡ Combat / Abilities -

- His two fans are sharp as razors. Using Tsuyuri's energy, he can allow them to grow in size. They can often hover and glide on their own, dicing through the air like boomerangs.
- He has the ability to manifest a storm of plum blossom petals. This is to distort his enemies' vision and perception. They also have the ability disorient and confuse when they swirl all around their target at high speeds.
- His most common abilities are hovering in the air and hazing from one area to another, which can be a nuisance as he can pop up however he likes.
